Valhalla Bound is an independent iOS application developed by Elijah ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Valhalla Bound app ("the App").

2. Information We Collect

Information stored on your device (never sent to us):

• Your warrior name
• Workout logs, sets, reps, and weight entries
• Macro and nutrition logs
• Streak data and XP progress
• App preferences and settings
• Your chosen rune and gender selection
• Active program and completed workout days

Information used for Crew features (stored on secure servers):

• Your warrior name
• Your total XP (Valor)
• Your current streak days
• A randomly generated anonymous device identifier
• Your last active timestamp
• Whether you are a Warrior or Shieldmaiden

Crew data is stored on Supabase (supabase.com) and is only used to display your stats to crewmates. No personally identifiable information such as your real name, email, or location is ever collected or stored.

Information collected by third-party services:

• RevenueCat — processes subscription purchases. RevenueCat may collect purchase history and device identifiers for subscription management. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store — handles all payment processing. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely to:

• Provide and improve the App's core features
• Enable the Crew social features when you choose to participate
• Process and manage your Pro subscription via RevenueCat
• Send local push notifications you have explicitly enabled

We do not use your information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the App.

4. Data Storage & Security

The vast majority of your data — workouts, macros, progress, settings — is stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data never leaves your phone unless you explicitly use Crew features.

Crew data is stored on Supabase servers located in the United States. Supabase is SOC 2 compliant and uses industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Your anonymous device ID used for Crew is generated randomly on your device and contains no personally identifiable information.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

• With crewmates — if you join or create a Crew, your warrior name, XP, streak, and last active time are visible to other crew members.
• With RevenueCat — to process and validate your Pro subscription.
• As required by law — if required to comply with a legal obligation.

6. Push Notifications

Valhalla Bound may send local push notifications to remind you to train, protect your streak, and deliver your weekly saga summary. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any server communication.

You can disable notifications at any time in the App under Profile → Notifications, or in your iPhone Settings → Valhalla Bound → Notifications.

7. Children's Privacy

Valhalla Bound is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have full control over your data:

• Local data — delete the App from your device to remove all locally stored data permanently.
• Crew data — leaving or disbanding a crew removes your data from our servers. You can also contact us to request deletion of any server-side data associated with your anonymous device ID.
• Subscription data — contact RevenueCat or Apple to manage subscription-related data.

To request deletion of your crew data, contact us at fenrirforge@yahoo.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
